About project:

As a Strong Middle/Senior Shopify Headless UI/UX Developer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually stunning and user-friendly e-commerce websites using Shopify’s headless architecture. You will be responsible for translating design concepts into functional and interactive experiences, ensuring seamless integration with various Shopify APIs and third-party services. Your expertise in Shopify development, front-end technologies, and UI/UX best practices will be essential in driving the success of our projects and elevating the user experience of our clients’ online stores.

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience);
• Proven experience as a Shopify developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful Shopify headless projects;
• Expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including frameworks like React or Vue.js), and Shopify Liquid templating language;
• Deep understanding of UI/UX principles, best practices, and responsive design techniques;
• Extensive knowledge of Shopify APIs, including Storefront API, Admin API, and GraphQL;
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows (e.g., Agile, Scrum);
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and provide creative solutions;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and interact with clients;
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, pixel-perfect UI/UX experiences;
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred qualifications:

• Shopify Developer Certification or other relevant certifications;
• Experience with headless CMS platforms and headless e-commerce architectures;
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and their implementation within Shopify;
• Familiarity with server-side programming languages (e.g., Node.js) and frameworks;
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques, caching mechanisms, and website security best practices.

What needs to be done on the project:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and project managers, to translate UI/UX wireframes and designs into Shopify headless applications;
• Develop scalable and responsive front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid templating language;
• Implement and customize Shopify themes and templates to match design specifications and client requirements;
• Integrate and leverage Shopify APIs, including Storefront API and Admin API, to build dynamic and interactive e-commerce functionalities;
• Optimize website performance, ensuring fast page load times and smooth user interactions through efficient code implementation and optimization techniques;
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve UI/UX issues, ensuring high-quality and bug-free deliverables;
• Stay updated on the latest Shopify features, best practices, and industry trends, and proactively suggest innovative solutions to enhance user experiences;
• Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless data flow and integration between the front-end and back-end systems;
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, offering technical expertise, code reviews, and sharing industry knowledge.

Schedule: Some overlap with Las Vegas hours is required, but flexibility would not be a problem
