It is a Canadian company looking for a .NET Developer who is passionate about developing and maintaining all aspects of quality. We work on a full-service solutions provider that remains committed to offering a fully integrated platform of software, hardware and support services. We depend on our qualified team to build our product and service our 1100+ clients at our head office in Ville St-Laurent, QC.

Job Description: 

• Designing, developing, and testing projects from start to finish;
• Committing code using best practices and adhering to project workflows;
• Applying security best practices in all technical decisions;
• Track and provide status updates on issues in Gitlab;
• Attending team meetings, and communicating with internal staff via slack, email, and virtual meetings — in English;
• Daily activities include development, application maintenance, monitoring alerts, and investigating escalations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of work experience in a developer position;
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle process;
• Excellent programming skills;
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills;
• Great sense of teamwork.

.NET Developer Requirements:

• 5+ years of experence with C# and .Net applications;
• Deep knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF);
• Experience using the MVVM design pattern;
• Strong binding skills;
• Strong with MySQL;
• Experience with User Controls, Resource Dictionaries and Styling;
• Experience working with hardware;
• Experience with XML files storage;
• Experience with REST APIs;
• Experience with Unit Testing;
• Experience using Git.

* We have 2 stages for candidate selection and have all the tools required. Our current dev team consists of 5 people at the moment.
