For an international client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks and dbt.

The project focuses on designing and implementing scalable data pipelines across the entire data lifecycle, from the Raw Layer to the Smart/Business Layer, using modern Lakehouse architecture principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize data pipelines in Databricks
• Implement data transformations using dbt
• Build and maintain data models from Raw to Smart Layer
• Develop robust ETL/ELT processes
• Collaborate with international stakeholders and development teams
• Ensure high-quality, scalable and maintainable data solutions
• Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer

Required Skills

• Several years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks
• Proven expertise with dbt (data build tool)
• Excellent SQL skills
• Good Python knowledge
• Experience with modern data warehousing and Lakehouse architectures
• Strong communication skills in English
