DevOps Engineer

We’re tech company in the mining and logistics industry, committed to driving innovation and efficiency through cutting-edge technologies. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team to support our growing infrastructure and development projects. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and improving our software delivery pipeline, ensuring efficient deployment, monitoring, and security.
Your role:
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects using tools like Azure DevOps;
- Implement infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible, with a focus on Microsoft environments;
- Optimize and monitor Microsoft Azure cloud platform for high availability, security, and performance;
- Establish version control systems and branching strategies within Azure DevOps;
- Design backup and disaster recovery plans;
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the software delivery pipeline;
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and implement security best practices;
- Stay updated with Azure DevOps tools and general DevOps best practices.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field;
- Proven DevOps experience with a focus on Microsoft technologies;
- Proficiency in Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for configuration management. (Or similar)
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell, or similar);
- Expertise in CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps (formerly known as Visual Studio Team Services or VSTS);
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes;
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and its various services;
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools;
- Understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and data backup and recovery strategies;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively.

Preferred qualifications:
- Azure-related certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert;
- Exposure to serverless computing and event-driven architectures;
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies;
- Database administration experience in Postgres.
