Ruby on Rails Developer
We are a small passionate team looking for a development partner. Are you looking to join our highly ambitious company? Do you want to be a key contributor in making property renting quicker, cheaper and better for all parties? Our company is re-inventing the way letting agents rent properties. Our solution allows independent/enterprise estate agents to focus on what they are good at, which is conducting viewings, cross-selling and negotiations, whilst our company automates and simplifies the laborious and repetitive work in generating a tenancy. We enable estate agents to use the latest technologies available, by providing them a white-label solution. We believe in a culture around transparency and trust. Everyone is expected to take leadership and have a get things done attitude.
Some of the technologies used:
Ruby on Rails, Graphql, React, javascript, jquery, handlebars, postgres (serverless) Docker, SCSS, sidekiq, AWS (Elastic beanstalk, Redis, Cloudfront CDN, S3 Bucket, Elasticache).
You will:
- Take responsibility in designing and building the core of our system;
- Handle all aspects of back-end and front-end development from coding to testing and deploying in production;
- Work with the latest technologies to develop our platform;
- We are already started working on building out a microservices architecture. Help us on this journey.
You are:
- Self-taught or have relevant educational background;
- Proficient in written and spoken English;
- Creative and good sense of humour;
- Not afraid of challenges.
You know:
- You know how to find a solution to a problem (by Google, through your network or by looking at online libraries or other means);
- Ruby on Rails, AWS (S3 Bucket, Elasticbeanstalk), Docker, GitHub, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, React;
- Experience in building scalable APIs;
- Experience in microservices architecture.
